A giant artistic gorilla with a bad temper, Hoo exhibits an innocent, childish twist. His art is important to him, and he doesn't take criticism well. Slightly smarter than most people think, Hoo has a pretty good vocabulary to match his artistic ways. He speaks like Arnold Schwarzenegger and hates being called a monkey (as he is clearly a giant gorilla).
Small, annoying, and obsessed with quizzing, Chudd is the ultimate and most lovable quiz show host the world has ever known. Endlessly enthusiastic, he loves his job, and is constantly striving to make the show ever more spectacular (with decidedly mixed results). Chudd strives to be the best game show host he can be, or least the weirdest.
In the world of Skatoony, The Earl (aka Earl) is a glorious, hairy-chested god. Women want him and men want to be him. Making his home in the spotlight of success, Earl is beyond worrying about money or work. It's doubtful that Earl has a single care in the world. Somehow, he always gets what he wants and never stops to question why. The Earl and Chudd have a solid, symbiotic relationship. As long as Chudd is keen to work, Earl's happy to bring the glamour.
A whistle-blowing, loud suit-wearing, cologne-reeking ex-hockey coach, Charles has it in for Chudd. Charles constantly interrupts the Skatoony action, blowing his whistle to inject his two cents. Charles is competitive and thrives on the thrill of quizzing. He will do anything to win, but is kept in line by Granny, as well as Chudd. On the outside, Charles is bossy, quick-tempered, and gruff, but on the inside? He's a big softie; he admires the competitive spirit of the kids.
